We were rooting for besties Charly Barby and Kelly Villares as they finally made the team together last season on Netflix’s America’s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders. Now the duo are full-blown Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders and experts on getting that American sweetheart look.

They exclusively shared their DCC beauty secrets with E!, including some of their favorite products from the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders’ partner, European Wax Center.

“European Wax Center has been such a blessing to save all of our lives [and] make them 10 times easier,” Kelly told E! “[Their] services are something that we actually use really often.”

“I normally go around three to four times before games during game day season,” Charly told E! “I normally go and get my armpits and my eyebrows waxed. I actually used to do threading, and since then I’ve tried waxing and so I always end up going to European Wax Center.”

“We’re always required to be gameday ready at all times,” Kelly said. “I mean, we have appearances, we have practices every single day, game days on the weekends, always shows and performances… it’s just so important that our bodies are super smooth and ingrown-free, and to help be ingrown-free, a product that I use is the Slow Body Polish.”

“It’s like an exfoliator, and it helps with ingrown hairs,” she said. “I absolutely love it for our tanning. Believe it or not, a lot of us actually self tan/spray tan a couple of times a week, so we use that in the shower, and it just helps prep our skin for a fresh layer.”

Treat Ingrown Hair Serum

“After waxing, I will always use the Ingrown Hair Serum, because I really do think that it helps to get those ingrown hairs away and keep everything nice and smooth,” Charly said.

Treat All Over Deodorant

“Another that I actually found to love this past season was the All Over Deodorant,” Kelly said. “It’s like a cream. It actually smells so good. It smells like lavender.”

“It smells like you’re going to a spa almost when you put it on, and it’s awesome because it’s not just for your underarms. You can put it in any parts of your body that you feel like sweat a lot. Something that I learned is how much we actually sweat as cheerleaders. We’re doing so much physical activity, especially on a game day or before rehearsal, and that all over deodorant… you can put it in between your legs, you can put it on your stomach, and it just helps make sure that it’s odor-free and helps reduce sweat,” she shared.

Slow Coconut Body Oil

“I love to use the Body Oil,” Charly said. “It is an incredible product. Every single night before I go to bed, I actually mix it in just any lotion… I like to switch up lotions… so any lotion that I’m using… whatever scent I like that time… I’ll put the body oil inside the lotion and then I’ll put it all over me before I go to bed. It actually slows hair growth as well, so that I think is really beneficial leading up to my next wax.”

Treat Face & Body Exfoliating Gel

“Once or twice a week, I’ll go in with an exfoliant,” Kelly said of her skin care routine. “I just use the European Wax Center gentle exfoliating gel. It comes in a little tub. I’ll put that on in the shower, and that just helps remove any excess dead skin.”

Loving Tan Deluxe Self Tanning Bronzing Mousse in Dark

“I go to Palm Beach for my spray tans, and if I do self-tan tan, I vary with products,” Kelly said. “Sometimes I’ll use Loving Tan.”

“I would probably use the Loving Tan dark mousse,” Charly said.

Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs Lotion

Kelly and Charly both swear by Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs.

“I do think a lot of us use the Sally Hansen leg makeup after a spray tan or any sort of tan is coming off your body,” Charly said. “You know we do have a lot of appearances back-to-back, and sometimes we’re so busy that having another spray tan or another self-tan just isn’t in the cards for that week. A lot of us will buy the Sally Hansen and put it on our chest or anywhere that our uniform is showing our skin.”

While many DCCs use pricey Dyson Airwraps, Kelly and Charly actually use a hair tool that costs south of $100 to get their glam DCC hair. “I use BaByliss… they have a one-inch curling wand,” Kelly said.

“The beginning of gameday, or if it’s a super long rehearsal, I’ll use that one-inch curling iron and make my curls super tight. So at first, we’re going to look a little bit like Shirley Temple, but it’s all about trusting the process, because as soon as we go through that one rehearsal, the curls start to fall. Then that gives you the opportunity to brush it out, and then the curls look a little more natural. So that is my hair hack,” she shared.

“I absolutely love it,” Charly echoed. “I think it helps keep my hair super intact. I do notice with that specific curling iron, my hair falls less frequently, and so I think for game days in that heat and that 4-hour or more game, it definitely helps keep my hair perfectly curled, and I definitely use it when I touch up in the locker room during halftime and before games as well.”

Kelly swears by DCC beauty partner Charlotte Tilbury to get America’s sweetheart lips. “I’ve been using the Charlotte Tilbury… I do this little combo,” Kelly said. “My hack is that you line your lips with a darker shade.”

“For example, I’ve been using recently Charlotte Tilbury’s Pillow Talk Medium, sometimes Dark if I’m feeling frisky. So Medium, and then you take a light shade in the center, so I would use Pillow Talk Fair. So if I were to use the Pillow Talk Fair throughout my whole lips, I sometimes like I need some dimension, so that’s why I use that combo. And actually, a lot of girls on my team used that combo too. So I love it.”

La Roche-Posay Toleriane Hydrating Gentle Face Cleanser

“I have been using La Roche-Posay’s gentle cleanser because my skin is always just being packed with makeup,” Kelly said. “I feel like a gentle cleanser is important, just so nothing’s too harsh on my skin.”

CeraVe Daily Moisturizing Lotion

“CeraVe, I use their gentle moisturizer as well,” Kelly said. “I like to stick to the gentler products.”

Ice Roller

“I do love a good ice roller,” Kelly said. “You can get these on Amazon, and every morning before an appearance, before a performance, before a game day, I roll out my face with ice, and I feel like it really depuffs it. A lot of times, we’re getting back from practice late at night, and I have early wake-up calls, and that really helps. I do it right before my makeup.

Charly’s secret weapon for shiny red hair?

“I really do like the Color Wow hair mask,” Charly said. “I do it in the shower before a game day. I’ll let it sit for about five minutes before I rinse it all out. And that’s after I shampoo and condition.”

“I’ll use the Magic Cream by Charlotte Tilbury… put that on before my makeup,” Kelly said. “I’m not kidding… it’s like the most perfect base.”

“I use the Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream pretty frequently just as a base,” Charly said. “I actually use it at night as a regular moisturizer and then before I do my makeup. I actually don’t use a primer, which I know a lot of people think it’s controversial, but I use that as a primer before my makeup, and that’s the only thing that I do before I put on foundation or anything. I really just think that gives you the glow from the inside out, starting with the skin.”

Charlotte’s Magic Serum Crystal Elixer

“I also use the Magic Serum on top of [Charlotte’s Magic Cream] after the shower or something when I need a little bit more moisture in my skin,” Charly said. “After I do the moisturizer, I’ll put on the serum, and I’ll let that sit for a little bit and soak into my face while I sleep, and then I wake up the next day, I feel a lot more glowy and hydrated.”
