Braves News: Bryce Elder gets shelled, Nacho Alvarez Jr. exits, and more

It was a less than ideal night for the Atlanta Braves, who were shutout by the Philadelphia Phillies 13-0. Bryce Elder got the ball and went just two innings.

In those two frames, he allowed ten runs. It marked another mediocre start for Elder – his third in a row.

Offensively, the Braves racked up nine hits but were unable to plate a run.

The club looks to break their three game skid behind Spencer Schwellenbach tonight at 7:15 ET.
