REPORT: Patriots Gave Out One Of Richest Deals’ To Land This Undrafted Rookie

Lan Larison should have a legitimate chance to crack the Patriots roster.

The UC Davis running back received $175,000 in guaranteed money as an undrafted free agent from New England, according to ESPN’s Mike Reiss. It represents “one of the richest deals” the Patriots offered to an UDFA, per Reiss.

“That reflects how the Patriots likely had competition from other teams to land Larison,” Reiss wrote Sunday.

New England agreed to terms with 17 undrafted free agents after the 2025 NFL Draft.

A dual-threat running back, Larison arrives in Foxboro, Mass., after he set school records for single-season all-purpose yards (2,387) and career all-purpose yards (6,504). His lengthy list of accolades includes being named an FCS All-American in 2024 and First Team Big Sky All-Conference.

Larison joins a Patriots running back room headlined by incumbent starter Rhamondre Stevenson, veteran Antonio Gibson and 2025 second-round pick TreVeyon Henderson.
