Kansas City Chiefs Cheerleading Squad Takes Massive Hit

Just when the Kansas City Chiefs were going through free agency and preparing for the NFL Draft in April, they have another personnel issue to deal with. The Chiefs have nine cheerleaders leaving the squad due to retirement.

The final game they all cheered together was Super Bowl 59 in New Orleans. Unfortunately for the ladies, the Chiefs lost 40-22 and their dreams of a three-peat were dashed. The news broke on social media Wednesday afternoon. “Before auditions kick off, we want to recognize the 9 incredible veterans retiring this season! Thank you all for your commitment, kindness, talent, and passion over the years We love each one of you and can’t wait to see what your next chapters hold ,” the Chiefs announced.

“Veteran Kansas City Chiefs cheerleaders Ashton, Carly, Cassidy, Grace, Gracie, Jordan, Marlee, Reagan and RyleeKate are officially leaving the team.” The post reached the masses as it collected over 7, 500 likes at one point. Many people left messages of congratulations and well wishes.

“Congratulations to them all! What a fantastic experience to build upon. ,” one fan wrote. “congratulations ladies!!! It’s been fun watching you,” one fan added.
