The official X account of the “New Heights” podcast has hyped up Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, who hosts the popular weekly show with his brother Jason, several times this season, but it may have gone a little overboard after Saturday’s 27-19 win over the Houston Texans.
The account tweeted a photo of Kelce from the game with his arms outstretched celebrating a catch with the caption “Job not done… but W.” While the tweet was likely posted with innocent intentions, it was deleted within hours of its posting after several fans pointed out that the photo of Kelce drew some unnecessary attention to his nether regions.
Several comments actually even urged the account’s admin to delete the tweet given the revealing nature of its content. The photo garnered 206,000 views, 4,200 likes and 212 reposts before it was deleted. While the photo was wiped from the “New Heights” account, it didn’t stop fans from talking about the show’s blunder on social media.
That post had me like pic.twitter.com/3HyKqxhwPp — Meghan (@meghann_23) December 21, 2024 “New Heights deleted that post, gone but never forgotten,” one fan wrote. “New Heights deleted that post I’m cryingidjsjs,” another added. “@newheightshow are we gonna talk about it? ” one user remarked.
“Can’t blame them for deleting. It could be so Innocently done until it’s not,” another user quipped. Aside from the unwanted viral moment, Kelce had a relatively quiet performance against the Texans. The nine-time Pro Bowlers finished the game with five catches on even targets for 30 yards. It was the eighth time this season Kelce had five or fewer catches and the sixth time he had 30 or fewer receiving yards.
