Patrick Mahomes is pumped for Taylor Swift’s new album!

In an interview with radio host Carrington Harrison shared Thursday, Oct. 2, the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback, 30, told listeners on 96.5 The Fan that his team already has their locker room playlist planned out for The Life of a Showgirl‘s release day.

“I’m super excited,” the NFL star said on the eve of the album’s debut. It’s the 12th full-length album from the 35-year-old pop star, who recently became engaged to Mahomes’ teammate, Travis Kelce.

“I haven’t been able to hear the album yet, but I’m super excited to be able to do that,” the father of three added. “And it’ll be blaring all through the Chiefs facility tomorrow. We’ll be supporting Taylor.”

He went on to say that the 14-time Grammy winner “put in so much hard work” for the upcoming body of work.

Mahomes concluded, “I’m excited to hear the album just like everybody else.”

The “Love Story” singer announced her 12th studio album at 12:12 am on Aug. 12, just hours after a string of cryptic posts sent fans down an Easter egg rabbit hole and led to rumors of a major announcement.

She did it with the help of her fiancé Travis, also 35, and his brother Jason Kelce.

In a joint teaser from Swift and brothers’ New Heights Instagram accounts, a video posted at 12:12 am showed the “Look What You Made Me Do” singer asking them, “Can I show you something?”

The retired Philadelphia Eagles center, 37, replied, “Okay. What do we got? We got a briefcase? Mint green, with T.S. on it,” leading Swift to reply, “Yup.”

Jason then asked what was inside the briefcase, as Swift revealed that it was her “brand new album, The Life of a Showgirl.”

“TS 12!” Travis exclaimed.

Some fans believe she may have been teasing the album long before the New Heights joint reveal.

During her Eras Tour, Swift’s Tortured Poets Department track “I Can Do It with a Broken Heart” had a costume change skit that was Las Vegas-inspired with sparkling costumes, feathers and top hats.

Kelce famously joined her onstage for one of the performances.

Her rollout has included multiple photos of Swift in elaborate showgirl-style outfits and headdress, as well as sultry makeup.

“And, baby, that’s show business for you,” her Instagram bio reads.

The Life of a Showgirl was released on Oct. 3, 2025 at midnight, with the option to be pre-saved ahead.

Moments after the San Francisco 49ers secured a hard-fought 34–24 victory over the New York Giants, the postgame narrative took a sudden and shocking turn. What should have been a celebration of Brock Purdy’s steady leadership quickly morphed into a storm of controversy as Giants head coach Brian Daboll furiously accused the young quarterback of using “sideline technology” to decode New York’s defensive signals. Cameras caught Daboll gesturing animatedly at officials while muttering the word “cheater,” setting social media ablaze within minutes. Reporters swarmed the tunnel, trying to piece together what had just unfolded. Purdy, walking off the field with his helmet under his arm, looked composed, unfazed by the chaos around him. But when the accusation reached him during the postgame presser, his reaction — a cold, confident smile followed by twelve quietly delivered words — would freeze the room and redefine how the league viewed the 49ers’ rising star.
