Moguls skier Jaelin Kauf isn’t just a champion skier, she’s a woman of many talents.
Last winter, Kauf and some of the other women on the US Ski Team learned the Dallas Cowboy’s Cheerleader’s viral dance to AC/DC’s ‘Thunderstruck.’ A video of Kauf and several other moguls skiers on the US Ski Team performing the dance at Deer Valley got more than 70K likes on TikTok.
Clearly, Kauf and the other skiers’ dance impressed the Cowboys Cheerleaders because this past weekend, Kauf had the chance to dance alongside them. Kauf looked right at home with the DCC in cowboy boots and picked up the moves easily.
She also showed them the video of the moguls team performing their routine, which is arguably more impressive when done in ski boots. Check out the Instagram post below.

Kauf hails from Alta, Wyoming, so she’s no stranger to dancing in cowboy boots, or ski boots, for that matter.
Currently, Kauf has 7 U.S. Championship titles, 16 World Cup wins, a World Championship title, and an Olympic silver medal. Her 2024/25 season was arguably her most successful with a 14 event podium streak, eight wins, three FIS Crystal Globes, and a dual moguls World Championship title.
Arguably Kauf’s strongest discipline, Dual Moguls, will debut at the 2026 Winter Olympic Games in Milano, Cortina. The event gives mogul skiers another chance to win at the Olympics, and is one of the most exciting and high-energy disciplines to watch.
Unlike a traditional moguls event, dual moguls takes place in a head-to-head format where viewers can watch two skiers race each other in real time. Kauf is a favorite heading into the Winter Olympics with her fiercest competition being her US teammate, Tess Johnson, and French skier Perrine Laffont.
Perhaps the DCC will pay a special visit to the Winter Olympics to cheer on Kauf, but we won’t hold our breath for that switch-up.
