While Micah Parsons and Dak Prescott did not share the field in NFL games during their time together with the Dallas Cowboys, they had their fair share of battles in practices. For four seasons, Parsons donned Dallas colors and emerged as one of the greatest defensive players of his generation — if not, of all time.
Now with the Green Bay Packers, Parsons is continuing his journey in the NFL that, on Sunday, brought him back to his old stomping grounds , as he faced off against Prescott and the Cowboys at AT&T Stadium in Arlington.

Stopping Parsons was certainly a point of emphasis for Dallas in the contest, but despite repeatedly winning his matchups in the trenches, the four-time Pro Bowl pass rusher only managed to sack Prescott once — and it was in overtime.
Prescott was as locked in as Parsons. He shared that following the 40-40 tie that he never heard Parsons talk junk to him.
“Zero,” Prescott said (h/t Rob Demovsky and Todd Archer of ESPN ). “Not at all. Not at all. Until afterwards and it was great, good talks afterwards, staying healthy, great job, it was fun competing against you. But no talks happened at all during the game.”
The high-scoring game that did not have a winner nor a loser saw Prescott putting together an elite performance . He went 31-of-40 for 319 passing yards and three touchdowns with zero turnovers. As for Parsons, he got three quarterback hits and three total tackles on top of his lone sack.
Parsons is now up to 2.5 sacks so far in his first season with the Packers. A long way to go for him to match the 52.5 sacks he racked up during his stint in Dallas.
