HOT VIDEO: Viral Dak Prescott video shows quarterback apparently saying what everyone is thinking about the Cowboys

The Dallas Cowboys’ season is truly on the brink following their fifth loss of the season, a 27-21 fall to the Atlanta Falcons in Week 9.

At 3-5, not only are the team’s playoffs odds looking slim, but there’s little to get excited about for the team. The same issues that have been evident since September are still holding the team back and there’s little reason to believe it’ll get any better because a large part of the problem comes down to the roster and how it’s built.

Pass protection is a serious concern as was made clear on Sunday. The Falcons arrived at the game as one of the worst pass rushing teams in the league, with six sacks in eight games.

They go three against the Cowboys offensive line and hit Dak Prescott seven times. When the offense did move, there were penalties to worry about. On Sunday, the Cowboys were called for nine penalties including multiple false starts and even a 12 men in the huddle.

Add to that tackling woes on defense, poor play on the defensive line, and straight up miscommunications (which also occur frequently on offense) in coverage. It’s just bad football overall.

That’s why a video showing Dak Prescott on the sideline is going viral. In it, he appears to tell fellow quarterback Trey Lance “We f***ing suck.” I’m no lip reader, but it’s certainly what it looks like. Some others have suggested he could be saying “We’re f***ing done.”

What Prescott appears to be saying is something the NFL world probably agrees with through nine weeks of football. The Cowboys are simply not a good football team right now. They’re not a threat on offense nor defense and other than Brandon Aubrey, special teams are not much better.

On top of it all, the coaching staff has failed to provide a true gameday advantage and at times has cost the team a whole lot. The team is reaching a breaking point after their fifth loss of the year and if things don’t get better quickly, the Cowboys might start making major changes before the season is over.
