BIG UPDATE: Chicago Cubs Trade Recently DFA’d Infielder to Baltimore Orioles

The Baltimore Orioles have acquired 25-year-old infeilder Luis Vázquez from the Chicago Cubs in exchange for cash considerations.

Vázquez hit .263 with eight home runs and 24 RBI for AAA Iowa in 2024. Across AA and AAA in 2023, Vázquez hit .271 with 20 home runes.

The corresponding move: infielder Emmanuel Rivera has been designated for assignment.
