Anthony Volpe’s Girlfriend Posts ‘Stunning’ Photo After Yankees Win

New York Yankees shortstop Anthony Volpe appears to be winning on and off the diamond.

Volpe struggled this season for the Yankees, batting .212 with 19 home runs. He also had 19 errors at shortstop, which is a bit of a surprise considering he’s a Gold Glove winner. Luckily for the Bronx Bombers, he continues to step up when it matters most.

On Thursday night, Volpe had a clutch RBI single in the bottom of the fourth inning. He also flashed the leather plenty of times in crucial situations.

Earlier in the AL Wild Card Series against the Boston Red Sox, Volpe became the first shortstop in MLB history to record 15 hits and 10 walks in his first 15 career postseason games.

Before the MLB postseason started, Volpe attended a silent auction hosted by the Carlos Rodón Foundation. He was accompanied by a “mystery woman,” who was later identified as Elle Jowett.

Jowett, who is from Maine, has blown up on social media. She currently has 19,500 followers on Instagram.

Unsurprisingly, Jowett was at Yankee Stadium for Game 3 on Thursday night. She was thrilled about the team’s win over the Red Sox.

Jowett posted a photo of her Game 3 outfit along with the capton: “wooooohoooo.”

Next up for the Yankees is a showdown with the Toronto Blue Jays. The winner will advance to the American League Championship Series.

The Blue Jays have won seven of their past 10 games against the Yankees. They’ll try to continue their dominance in the postseason, but that’s easier said than done.

Game 1 of the ALDS between New York and Toronto will begin at 4:08 p.m. ET on Saturday.
