Dallas Cowboys week goes from bad to worse after the latest CeeDee Lamb injury news originally appeared on The Sporting News
The Dallas Cowboys are 1-2 after a 31-14 loss to the Chicago Bears. Caleb Williams had four touchdown passes, and Dallas’ defense has looked brutal through the first three weeks of the season. That wasn’t the worse part of the loss, either.

Wide receiver CeeDee Lamb left the game with an ankle injury. He came back in, but it was evident that he couldn’t run on the ankle, and he came right back out before being ruled out for the game. While many were hopeful Lamb would be available next week against the Green Bay Packers, it looks like that won’t be the case due to what is being classified as a high ankle sprain.
“Cowboys WR CeeDee Lamb suffered a high ankle sprain during Sunday’s loss to the Bears that makes him unlikely to play Sunday night vs. the Packers, per sources,” Adam Schefter reports. “The Cowboys want to see how Lamb is doing the next 10-14 days before making further determinations about his status.”
The Packers are coming off a shocking loss to the Green Bay Packers, but their defense has dominated through the first three weeks of the season, allowing just 44 points in three games. Dallas will lean heavily on George Pickens to step up and be the No. 1 target in the offense.
