🚨🚨🚨COWBOYS CALM AMID CONTROVERSY: While NFL fans are spiraling over Tom Brady’s alleged conflict of interest with the Raiders, Dallas offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer stays completely unbothered, brushing off the noise as social media erupts with fiery debates, whispers swirl about league politics and power plays, and the football world wonders if this drama will explode into something bigger or fade into just another headline.

Tom Brady was doing a fine job as part of FOX Sports’ broadcast team as the 2025 NFL season kicked into gear. At the same time, the 5% he owns of the Las Vegas Raiders has again become a major topic of controversy.

After covering the Super Bowl LIX rematch at Arrowhead Stadium, the 48-year-old traveled to Las Vegas and was seen inside the Raiders’ coaches’ booth at Allegiant Stadium for their game against the Los Angeles Chargers.

Since then, other networks, fans, and team owners have been in uproar as they raised questions of integrity in Brady’s job as a broadcaster. They believe his role as part-owner of the Raiders is now threatening to take the honesty out of his role with FOX.

They claim he is cashing in on the $375 million FOX is paying him, while also gathering all the information he can to help his Raiders. This sit-down inside the coach’s booth has some believing he is providing information that the team would otherwise not be privy to.

The NFL has cleared Tom Brady of any wrongdoing, confirming he did not break any guidelines. After the Dallas Cowboys’ practice session, head coach Brian Schottenheimer was asked if he had any concerns about sharing information with Brady during pre-production meetings.

Everybody has everybody’s playbook. Everybody knows somebody that knows somebody that’s been some place. I don’t have a problem with it. … I’ll talk football with anybody.

Brian Schottenheimer said as quoted by The Athletic’s Jon Machota

The Cowboys’ head coach’s answer paints what is well-known throughout the NFL. Everyone is aware of what their opponents work on. It is just a matter of what, when, and how they execute their game plan.

Ben Johnson is not sharing trade secrets with Tom Brady

Tom Brady‘s dual role as an analyst for FOX Sports and a minority-owner of the Las Vegas Raiders has led to concerns of a conflict of interest. But Chicago Bears head coach Ben Johnson is not worried.

I’m really not worried about it. I mean, we change week to week in terms of what we do… There’s not going to be any trade secrets that are going to be exchanged. But I really don’t think it’s that big of a deal to be honest with you.

Ben Johnson said as quoted by Courtney Cronin

In her article for ESPN, Cronin noted that Johnson echoed what Brian Schottenheimer said about Brady’s access to information. He believes the 7-time Super Bowl champion knows what every other personnel in the league does.

Therefore, it is not as big a concern as networks and fans have made it out to be. The problem is that fans have witnessed Brady’s Patriots cheat their way to success in the past, and believe the former QB is on a similar path.

Shannon Sharpe brings up ‘spygate’ to question Tom Brady’s booth escapade

‘Spygate’ rocked the NFL and the league, after a thorough investigation, docked the New England Patriots of draft picks, while also handing out fines to then-head coach Bill Belichick.

While discussing the concerns about Tom Brady’s dual role, Chad ‘Ochocinco’ Johnson told Shannon Sharpe that the FOX analyst could not gain anything through pre-production meetings and film that is available to all. To this, the Hall of Famer replied.

If that’s the only matter, why did they do ‘Spygate’?

Shannon Sharpe replied on Nightcap

He thinks that if Brady’s Patriots took the additional step to videotape opposing coaches’ signals, then that negates the logic that Brady already has access to all the information one would want.

Sharpe believes the former Patriots QB can still find something that others would not be privy to. When one adds his attention to detail, along with his 23 years of experience, the former tight end might have a point.
