Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce attended their first awards show together in April. But those hoping the couple would make their formal red carpet debut at this evening’s Met Gala will have to keep waiting. The couple wasn’t seen at the New York City event tonight as the red carpet wrapped up.

She kept a low profile on Met Gala day, remaining out of the spotlight. She was not active on social media.

Swift last attended the Met Gala in 2016, wearing a custom silver snakeskin minidress by Louis Vuitton. The star served as a co-host that year as the Met debuted its “Manus x Machina: Fashion in an Age of Technology” exhibit. Kelce, meanwhile, has never been at the event.
Kelce and Swift have spent this spring largely out of the spotlight. On March 26, they stepped out for their first awards show together, with Kelce joining Swift inside the iHeartRadio Music Awards. Swift chose a mint two-piece set from Wiederhoeft featuring an embellished corset top and matching miniskirt for the occasion, while Kelce was in a darker look alongside her.
The engaged couple has been planning their wedding together. In December, a source gave People an update. “When it comes to wedding planning, nothing feels rushed or one-sided,” the insider said. “They’re both equally involved and excited, and this isn’t something one or the other is carrying on their own. They’re approaching it as a partnership, talking things through together and enjoying the process in a way that feels natural to them.”
