Green Bay Packers: Jordan Love’s Wife Ronika Stone Love Sends Message After QB’s Farewell Post
Last Tuesday, the Green Bay Packers, just like all the other 31 teams in the NFL, trimmed their roster down to only 53 players. Among the many roster casualties on the side of Green Bay was quarterback Sean Clifford.
Some thought that there was a chance for Clifford to reunite with the Packers even after he was cut, as Green Bay can always ink him to a practice squad contract.
However, the Packers signed former Houston Cougars star signal-caller Clayton Tune instead to their practice squad, essentially closing the door on a potential reunion with Clifford. The 27-year-old Clifford also seemingly embraced the closure of his stint with the Packers, as he shared a heartfelt farewell message for Green Bay via a social media post.
“Thank you, Green Bay,” Clifford wrote in a post on Instagram. “Grateful for every moment wearing the green and gold, for my teammates who became brothers, and for a community that welcomed me with open arms. One of the best experiences of my life, and something I’ll carry with me forever. Much love, GB GPG”

Clifford’s post touched a lot of people, including Packers star quarterback Jordan Love and his wife, Ronika Love Stone.
“Love brother,” Love commented.
Ronika, on the other hand, wrote: “We’ll miss you .”
Clifford was selected in the fifth round of the 2023 NFL draft by the Packers. He played in only two games in his rookie season. Green Bay released him in the summer of 2024 before being signed to the team’s practice squad.
At the moment, the Packers only have two quarterbacks on their active roster in Love and chief backup Malik Willis.
