The Atlanta Braves got back in the win column after Tuesday night’s 11-2 victory over the Miami Marlins. Hurston Waldrep got the ball and in 5.1 innings allowed one run on eight hits. It wasn’t his best stuff considering he did not record any strikeouts, but his outing was still effective given he surrendered just one run.
Offensively, the bats came to life in the top of the ninth, where the Braves recorded nine of their runs. Ozzie Albies came up huge with four RBI on the night.
The Braves go for the series win this afternoon at 1:10 ET.
