“Last night, a stray took his final breath near Maria Cristina Street. We named him Cris-because every life, no matter how short, deserves to be remembered.
Though we could not save him, we made sure he did not leave this world unseen. In his last moments, he was not just “a stray.” He was Cris. He mattered. He was loved.” –
Project 100
Yesterday we received a report on this dog who was in a very dire condition. We shared it on the page with hopes of reaching people in the area who can help the dog asap especially because we dont really have rescuers on payroll, our volunteers just recently got into an accident, and we are already overwhelmed with over 800 rescues.
Thankfully, one of our volunteers, Gel, who lives in Manila area, and the student-led volunteer group Project 100 went out of their way to go there to rescue the dog. Unfortunately, he already crossed the rainbow bridge

They were seeking for help for cremation and that’s when we stepped in to offer help. Through our partnership with Pets In Peace Aquamation, this dog was given the send off he deserves.
We immediately asked them last night to give him a name. He was not just a stray. He was Cris. They kept him with them all night and brought him to
Pets in Peace Pet Aquamation the next day to formally send him off. Sorry the world failed you Cris. But we hope your beautiful soul felt you were seen and loved in the end before you cross the bridge.
Thank you Project 100 for your dedication to help animals in need. You are what this generation needs. May you all find strength in each other to keep going.
Thank you so much Pets in Peace for gifting Cris this beautiful send off.
