Dallas Cowboys Return to Oxnard for 2025 Summer Training Camp - Visit Oxnard

America’s Team is headed back to Oxnard! The Dallas Cowboys will open their 66th training camp in Oxnard this summer, with the first open practice on Tuesday, July 22, 2025, at 11:45 a.m. The free, family-friendly camp runs through Wednesday, August 13, offering a jam packed schedule of open practices and special events.

Dallas Cowboys Training Camp: Practice Location & Schedule

All open practices will take place at River Ridge Playing Fields at 2501 Ventura Road, with the majority open to the public with free admission. Open practices commence on July 22 and continue on select dates through August 13.

In addition to the training sessions, the family-friendly experience will include various activities and entertainment including a Dallas Cowboys merchandise pop up shop, autograph opportunities, field access, appearances by the world-renowned Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders and Rowdy at Opening Ceremonies, food and drink vendors and more.

Key Dates & Fan Events at a Glance:

July 25 – Oxnard Fan Night, 4:00–6:00 p.m., at The Collection at RiverPark: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, mascot Rowdy, and more join together for an evening of entertainment with giveaways, trivia and live entertainment.

July 26–27 – Cowboys Back Together Weekend: Opening Ceremony with alumni appearances, cheerleaders, merch, and practice events.

July 27 – Cheerleaders Dance Clinic, 2:00–5:00 p.m. at Channel Islands High School.

July 31 – Heroes Appreciation Day, honoring military, first responders, and healthcare heroes.

August 5 – Joint Open Practice with the Los Angeles Rams at 2:00 p.m.

Oxnard Fan Night

On Friday, July 25, Visit Oxnard will host its fourth annual Oxnard Fan Night at Collection Park from 4:00-6:00 p.m. This free community event is a chance for fans to see live performances by America’s Sweethearts – the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders – and enjoy an appearance from Cowboys Mascot Rowdy, along with a surprise special guest. ZEALE of rap duo Blackillac will once again host this exciting event, which will also include Dallas Cowboys trivia, contests, giveaways and more.

Opening Ceremonies

Training camp will kick off with the annual opening ceremony – Cowboys Back Together Weekend presented by American Airlines – as the team gives a warm welcome to fans on Saturday, July 26. Doors open for the Cowboys Back Together Weekend at 9:15 a.m. as fans enjoy live entertainment, appearances by Cowboys Alumni, mascot Rowdy, a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders autograph signing, exclusive merchandise, prizes, giveaways and more!

The opening ceremony will take place at 11:15 a.m. and will include a performance by the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders and remarks from Owner, President and General Manager Jerry Jones before the open practice session at 11:45 a.m.

DCC Dance Clinic

Children ages 6 to 16 can join the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders for a 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. dance clinic at Channel Islands High School. They will get the opportunity to develop technical & performance skills while learning the importance of positive self-esteem and strong core values through personalized coaching from the current Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders.

Heroes Appreciation Day

On Thursday, July 31, the Cowboys will host Heroes Appreciation Day to show their gratitude towards military personnel, first responders and front-line healthcare workers. Heroes who wear their military or first responder uniform or show their military ID will receive free general admission parking and two reserved spots on the sideline VIP structure to view practice.

Dallas Cowboys Fan Experiences Presented by SeatGeek

Fans have the option to purchase VIP or Sideline Access to Training Camp in Oxnard.

Dallas Cowboys Fan Experience ticketholders attending Training Camp in Oxnard will receive early entry. Fans with early entry access will be granted entry 30 minutes before camp opens to the public. Dallas Cowboys United no longer sells memberships online or on-site at Training Camp. Purchase will only be available online HERE. $20

Enjoy the sights and sounds of Training Camp from the comfort of our shaded hospitality platform, located along the south sideline. Fans can take advantage of optimal sightlines, premium seating, and access to complimentary non-alcoholic beverages and light snack options. Guests 21+ years of age will also receive two complimentary drink tickets for the cash bar located on the hospitality deck.

Dallas Cowboys Fan Experience ticketholders must get their ticket scanned at the Dallas Cowboys Fan Experiences check-in table. Parking is not included with a Fan Experiences ticket.

Staybridge Suites Oxnard – River Ridge by IGH is proud to be the host hotel for the Dallas Cowboys Training Camp. Fans can book their stay at one of Oxnard’s incredible lodging options, and come to multiple practice sessions. Parking at River Ridge Playing Fields is $20/day for small vehicles and $40/day for large vehicles (RV/Bus/Trailer). Cash only.
