Green Bay Packers: Team Opens As Massive Favorites For Week 11 Matchup Against The Chicago Bears

The Green Bay Packers were on a bye week in Week 10. They are 6-3 this season and are currently the seventh seed in the NFC. Green Bay will have a rough schedule for the remainder of the 2024 season and they will have to face the Chicago Bears twice.

Detroit Lions safety Kerby Joseph (31) intercepts a pass thrown by Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love and returns it for a touchdown during the second quarter of their game Sunday, November 3, 2024 at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

The Packers will face the Bears on the road this weekend and Green Bay has won 10 straight games against Chicago. The Bears lost to the New England Patriots at home on Sunday 19-3.

Green Bay Packers Open Up As -6.5 Points Favorites Against the Chicago Bears

On FanDuel Sportsbook, the Week 11 odds for the NFL are out. The opening odds for the Green Bay Packers this week is that the Packers are favored by -6.5 points on the road against the Bears. This is a massive spread. The Chicago Bears are 4-5 this season. Green Bay has -106 odds to cover the spread in the game and Chicago has +114 odds to cover the spread against the Packers this weekend.

The fact that Vegas has this big of a spread means that they think the Packers are going to win this game big. Chicago has not recovered ever since the Hail Mary against the Washington Commanders.

Matt Eberflus On the Hot Seat

Bears head coach Matt Eberflus is no question on the hot seat. If they do not win this game against Green Bay, their playoff hopes for the 2024 season will no question be doomed. It has felt like an eternity that Chicago has beaten the Packers.

Chicago’s fanbase ran their mouths all offseason about how Caleb Williams and the Bears were going to give Jordan Love and the Packers problems this season. Well, they could still do that, but the odds of that happening are probably slim to none. There is a chance that the Chicago Bears could move on from Eberflus if they were to lose again to the Packers this weekend.
