Green Bay, Wisconsin In a statement that has energized Packers fans and sent waves across the NFL, quarterback Jordan Love of the Green Bay Packers made a powerful promise about his future with the team he will stay in Green Bay until he brings home a Super Bowl no matter how long it takes.
“I’m not here just to play one season,” Love said during a summer media session.
“I’m here to bring a championship to Green Bay. If we haven’t won yet, I will stay until we do it. This city and the fans deserve a Super Bowl, and I will give everything I have for that.”

The 27 year old player who was selected by the Packers in the first round of the 2020 draft has quickly established himself as the centerpiece and leader of the team’s rise since becoming the starting quarterback in 2023.
A young leader with a long term vision
Love who spent his first three seasons learning behind Aaron Rodgers has shown clear growth and composure since taking control.
After leading the Packers to the playoffs in back to back seasons in 2024 and 2025 he is now viewed as a long term cornerstone of the organization.
Despite facing injuries and the pressure of succeeding a legend like Rodgers Love has earned the trust of teammates coaches and the entire Green Bay community.
“This isn’t about one great moment,” Love continued.
“This is about daily work about teammates about the fans and about this city. We want to bring back something Green Bay hasn’t had in more than a decade a Super Bowl.”
Building around the core
The Packers are actively building their roster around Love.
The front office has added quality pieces on both offense and defense creating a strong and talented young core.
Under head coach Matt LaFleur the team is focusing on building an offensive system that maximizes Love’s passing ability and decision making.
Although the road to the Super Bowl remains challenging especially in a highly competitive NFC North the optimism in Titletown is growing stronger.
Love’s bold promise has strengthened the belief among Packers fans that the organization is entering a new era filled with hope.
An era that could finally end the long drought for the Lombardi Trophy.
