The New York Yankees are known to be seeking bullpen help.

Bird is in his fourth MLB season, by far his best. He has struck out 10.5 batters per nine innings, and has an ERA just about 4.

He’s not the highest-profile Rockies reliever. That’s Seth Halvorsen, who throws in the low-100s.
But Halvorsen has a lot of club control remaining and is a guy Colorado may hold onto.
Bird is moveable, and he wouldn’t cost a huge prospect haul from the Yankees.
It’s the time of year when a ton of bullpen arms are about to change teams. Bird may be coming to the Yanks.
