‘He’s Doing The Trump Dance’: Social Media Blows Up Over Nick Bosa Celebration After 49ers Sack

San Francisco 49ers pass rusher Nick Bosa, who was recently fined over a MAGA hat, went viral again on social media Sunday for what said appeared, when seen in fan videos (below) from the stadium, to be the so-called “Trump Dance” – moves President-elect Donald Trump has made to music that became a meme on the right during the 2024 election.

The defensive end has has openly flaunted his support for Trump, and when he crashed a live ESPN interview while wearing and drawing attention to his Trump hat ended up being fined by the league.

In Sunday’s win over the Buccaneers, Bosa sacked Tampa quarterback Baker Mayfield for a 10-yard loss at a critical moment in the fourth quarter. The San Francisco 49ers would go on to win the game by a score of 23-20.

Bosa was then seen celebrating the sacking with his fellow defensive linebackers by doing a dance that, when seen in video shared online, seemed to mirror Trump’s famous YMCA dance at his campaign rallies.

The 49ers defensive athlete did not confirm after the game whether he was doing the Trump dance. However, popular sports users on social media, including Outkick’s Clay Travis determined he did the dance honoring the president-elect.
