Patrick and Brittany Mahomes have left fans in awe after sharing stunning pictures from their recent family vacation to Mexico.

The Kansas City Chiefs star has enjoyed an offseason of rest and relaxation, as he attempts to brush off the heartbreak of February’s Super Bowl defeat.

The couple and their three children – Sterling Skye, three, and son Patrick ‘Bronze’ Lavon Mahomes III, two, and baby Golden Raye, six months – enjoyed some quality time together as the quarterback savored his final moments of freedom.

The family appeared to have jetted off to Mexico to soak up their final rays of summer sun before Mahomes has to get back to business.

Mahomes, along with his teammates including Travis Kelce, is set to report for the Chiefs’ preseason training next week on Tuesday July 22.

In preparation of his return to the field, the Mahomes family enjoyed a trip to Mexico and have now shared pictures from the vacation with fans on social media.

Brittany took to Instagram on Wednesday to post a collection of snaps from the trip – including a number of pictures of the couple along with their three children.

A beaming Mahomes sat alongside his wife and their children on the couch of their holiday home in one of the pictures and held Golden Raye up for the photo.

In another, the Chiefs quarterback was seen holding hands with son ‘Bronze’ as they walked down a path on the holiday resort.

Just one day prior to the post, Mahomes was seen carting multiple bags towards what appeared to be a private jet, as the family called an end to their vacation.

His eldest daughter, Sterling, trotted behind him with the doting dad turning around to check on her.

Bronze was also seen tottering after his father as mom Brittany trailed close behind, keeping tabs on the energetic toddler.

There was no sign of the family’s youngest bundle of joy, Golden, whom they welcomed in January, but Brittany was pictured carrying a bundle of blankets.

The mother-of-three dressed for comfort in a white sports dress, sneakers and sunglasses. She simply piled her long blonde tresses up in messy updo, held together by a claw clip.

The Mahomes family outing comes after the Chiefs sealed a huge move to boost the quarterback’s chances next season.

Kansas City reached an agreement with Trey Smith over a new four-year, $94million contract just hours before Tuesday’s franchise-tag deadline.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Smith’s new deal, which includes $70m guaranteed, makes him the highest-paid guard in NFL history.

The 26-year-old is also set to earn the highest-average annual salary and most guaranteed money ever handed to a guard, Schefter added.
