Few non-playing jobs in the NFL are as prestigious as the Dallas Cowboys cheerleading team. As the 2025 NFL season approaches, the Cowboys cheerleaders have a big announcement to share.

On Thursday, the team revealed its eight group leaders for the 2025-26 season. Leading the way will be Karley Swindel, Megan McElaney, Lea Tunnell, Tori, Anna Sundvold, Marissa Phillips, Kelee and Kleine Powell.
“Ready to lead with grit and grace 💙 Introducing the 2025-26 Group Leaders!”
Other members of the team quickly took to the comments on Instagram to congratulate their fellow cheerleaders on the big announcement:
“Soooooo soo deserving!!!!! Could not be more excited for these leaders,” Jensen McCoy replied.
“Super excited for these girls! I couldn’t be more proud of each of you and love you all so much! So deserving!” Madie Krueger wrote.

“Couldn’t think of a better group of women to lead this team. Sending my love and support to each and every one of you LEADERS,” Jada Mclean replied.
“YASSSS LADIESSS!!!! So happy for this group of leaders and can wait to watch y’all shine!!!” wrote Armani Latimer.
“SO EXCITED FOR THESE LEADERS🥹🩷 So deserving and cannot wait to watch them all shine!!! Best night ever,” Charly Barby wrote.
“WOW how lucky are we to be led by this iconic group of humans??! GOOOO GROUP LEADERSSSS,” Ariel Brumfield wrote.
The cheerleaders may have their work cut out for them in trying to keep the crowds motivated in 2025. With the way the 2024 season ended, things could get rough unless all of the stars are playing at their highest level (and staying healthy in the process).

The offseason got off to a rocky start as the team parted ways with head coach Mike McCarthy then followed that up with a pretty low-key coaching search before settling on offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer for a promotion to the top job.
At the player level, the Cowboys made a few waves by acquiring star wide receiver George Pickens, QB Joe Milton, linebacker Kenneth Murray and CB Kaiir Elam via trades. Their free agent acquisitions were a little less impactful and were mostly depth signings.
