The Dallas Cowboys received great news about the return of quarterback Dak Prescott.
Prescott missed most of last season after tearing his hamstring in the Cowboys’ Week 9 matchup against the Atlanta Falcons. After three straight seasons making the playoffs, the Cowboys finished the season with a 7-10 record following Prescott’s injury.

This isn’t the first time Prescott has missed significant time with Dallas. The 31-year-old only appeared in five games in the 2020 season, which was the last time the Cowboys missed the playoffs before this season.
While speaking with the Dallas Morning News’ Joseph Hoyt, Prescott revealed that he is healthy as can be and expects to be a full training camp participant.
“I’m healthy as I’ll be,” Prescott said. “I’ll be full go for camp. I’m healthy, yeah. I think soon here I’ll probably get an official sign off from doc. But I’m healthy.”

Prescott has spent all nine seasons of his career in Dallas, and when he’s healthy, he elevates the team to a whole new level. He is a three-time Pro Bowler who nearly won the Most Valuable Player Award in 2023, finishing in second place. Prescott was playing well last season before his injury, completing 64.7 percent of his passes for nearly 2,000 yards and 11 touchdowns in eight games.

With a revamped offense including a new wide receiver in George Pickens, the Cowboys are eyeing a playoff return this upcoming season. Prescott’s health will be a huge factor in how far Dallas can make it next season, so it’s great to hear that he should be ready to go for training camp.
