Taylor Swift’s Cape Cod mansion was once known as the romantic sanctuary of the Cruel Summer singer and Conor Kennedy a decade ago.

Although short-lived, her relationship with Kennedy made plenty of headlines, mainly due to their age difference (she was 22 at the time, while he was 17) and the fact that they were spending time together shortly after Kennedy lost his mother, Mary Richardson Kennedy, to suicide.

The singer-songwriter bought the seven-bedroom mansion, located at 27 Marchant Avenue in Hyannis Port, in 2012. After their summer fling, she sold the house in 2013 for $5 million.

To fans’ surprise, the property has returned to the market, this time at a heftier price of $14.5 million.

The increase is largely due to renovations, which introduced a more neutral color palette and open, airy spaces, with rooms positioned to take in views of the sandy beach.

Aside from her Massachusetts property, Swift has also reportedly been renovating her mansion in Rhode Island, said to be transforming it into a family-friendly home.

Although rumors of a split between Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have surfaced recently, Swift’s reported plans to purchase new real estate in Nashville and Kansas City might suggest their relationship is heading toward something more serious.
