Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce is one of the most recognizable athletes in professional sports. In addition to being one of the most accomplished players at his position, Kelce is also dating 14-time Grammy Award winning musical artist Taylor Swift.

Ever since the couple’s relationship became public knowledge in September of 2023, the ten-time Pro Bowler has seen his own star explode. Of course, he was always well known among NFL fans because of his dominance on the field. However, his relationship with Swift made him more recognizable to fans outside of football.

And while this high level of exposure has its benefits in terms of endorsements and paid appearances, it also has its drawbacks.

Kansas City Chiefs Tight End Travis Kelce Called Out for Taylor Swift Questions on “New Heights” Survey

One of the things Kelce is known for off of the football field is his podcast, “New Heights,” which he hosts with his brother, Philadelphia Eagles legend Jason Kelce. Recently, the brothers signed a three-year deal with Amazon’s Wondery worth over $100 million.

“New Heights” is a fun podcast for fans because it gives them behind the scenes access to the Kelce brothers’ lives, as well as interesting insight on how they as players view the game of football.

Recently, “New Heights” put out a survey for fans to fill out on social media. And while this sounds like a fun interactive idea, many fans, especially Swift’s fans, were upset by the number of questions regarding the singer and her relationship with the Chiefs’ tight end.

“The questions about Taylor and their relationship is so weird and gross,” one fan wrote on X. “What’s the goal here? If so many people choose those Wondery will demand Travis to talk about Taylor and their private life? Those questions should be removed.”

“Y’all have no shame @tkelce was the worst player on the field, now these clout chasing podcast bros are “giving away a jersey” for your Data by milking Taylor’s name 🙄 Tay Plz cut these clout chasers off,” another fan wrote.

“Take Taylor out of your questionnaires she has nothing to do with any of these,” wrote another.

“This is going to be so embarrassing. Why would they do this?” another user asked.

It will be interesting to see if either Travis or Jason address these comments when they stream their next episode. Clearly many fans are not happy about the questions.

Of course, it should be noted that “New Heights” has a production and social media team. Neither of the brothers likely had any involvement in the writing of questions for the survey.
