Broncos to face 49ers and Cardinals in joint practices during training camp

The Denver Broncos are setting up joint practices ahead of training camp this summer.

As they often do, the Broncos are expected to play the San Francisco 49ers and Arizona Cardinals in preseason games ahead of the 2025 regular season. Denver is working on scheduling a joint practice in San Francisco before the 49ers game, according to KUSA-TV’s Mike Klis.

The Broncos are also expected to host Cardinals for a joint practice before a home preseason game, according to the Denver Gazette’s Chris Tomasson. The opponent for Denver’s third preseason game is not yet set.

The Broncos hosted the Green Bay Packers for a joint practice last summer ahead of their preseason showdown. Denver hosted the Los Angeles Rams the year before that and the Dallas Cowboys three years ago. The Broncos have also held joint training sessions with the Carolina Panthers, Houston Texans, Chicago Bears and Minnesota Vikings in past summers.

Denver’s preseason schedule is expected to be announced when the NFL announces the regular season schedule this spring, likely in May. The Broncos will announce their training camp schedule later in the year.
