Braves News: International Signing Class, Hall of Fame, Minor League Signings, more

As mentioned yesterday, the day has finally arrived for the newest members of the Baseball Hall Of Fame to be revealed. This class will likely include first-time eligible candidates in Ichiro Suzuki and CC Sabathia along with Billy Wagner, who is in his final year of eligibility. Plus, as is the case most years, this year’s voting will give a good idea who could be in line to earn this honor in the future. Carlos Beltran is on the bubble for this year, but both he and Andruw Jones appear to be in fine shape for next year.

Dreams will come true later today as the 2025 HOF class is revealed this afternoon at 6 PM EST/ 5PM CST.

Braves News

Speaking of classes, the Braves are excited about the level of talent they are adding to their farm system with their 2025 International signing period class.

The Braves signed Chasen Shreve to a minor league deal, bringing the veteran lefty back to the organization his career started with in 2014.

MLB News

Toronto agreed to a five-year deal with slugger Anthony Santander.

The Twins may be a team to watch heading into this week when it comes to potential trades.
