BREAKING: Dak Prescott Reveals His Top Pick for Head Coach in 2025 – You Won’t Believe Who!

Dak Prescott’s 2024 season ended last month when he injured his hamstring, but the Dallas Cowboys signal caller will return in 2025.

Whether Mike McCarthy is back on the sidelines coaching him is another story.

For much of this season, it looked like McCarthy’s tenure in Dallas was coming to an end.

However, with the Cowboys playing better over the last six weeks, the veteran head coach has earned some high-profile endorsements, including one from Prescott.

Following today’s 40-7 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles, Prescott voiced his support for McCarthy to return.

“It’s tough to probably get your job done and do your job with all that hanging over your head,” Prescott said, via ESPN’s Todd Archer.

“But credit to him, credit to his professionalism and really his coach’s style of being able to get guys being ready to play and go out there and finish and take pride in what we finish and what we put on tape.”

“Obviously, I’m a promoter of bringing him back,” he added.

We’ll have to see what Jerry Jones has to say about McCarthy during his weekly radio appearance on 105.3 The Fan on Tuesday, but last week, the longtime Cowboys owner was supportive of his head coach.

“I can’t tell you how proud I am of the way the coaching staff, led by Mike McCarthy, the way that the leadership on this team, and really proud of these young players,” Jones said, via Jon Machota of The Athletic. “They just are growing mentally and physically by leaps and bounds, makes me think we’ve got an outstanding future ahead of us.”

Now 7-9 on the season and having already been eliminated from playoff contention, the Cowboys will close out the slate against the Washington Commanders in Week 18.

After that game, we should get a definitive answer on McCarthy’s future, one way or another.
