Travis Hunter’s epic response to Drake Maye and Patriots question. Who would want to see this duo?

Heisman Trophy candidate Travis Hunter weighed in on the possibility of joining quarterback Drake Maye and the New England Patriots.

The Colorado Buffaloes star receiver/cornerback read and responded to a message from a viewer during a live stream.

“‘Trav and Drake Maye?’ That would be tough,” said Hunter, via Carlos Talks Pats (h/t @Sthadius12).

Hunter is one of the most dynamic playmakers in college football. The Colorado star played on both the offensive and defensive side of the ball throughout the season. He recorded 92 catches for 1,152 yards and 14 touchdowns, along with 31 tackles, a forced fumble and four interceptions on the season.

If the season ended today, the Patriots would own the No. 3 overall pick of the 2025 NFL draft, per Tankathon.com. That would put them in range of a player like Hunter.

Maye and Hunter together would be a dynamic combination. They would give the Patriots’ offense the spark it desperately needs. With that said, the team also needs to address the left tackle position.

There are multiple needs on the roster that might force the Patriots to be more aggressive than they’ve ever been in an offseason.
