On Friday, Jorge Castillo of ESPN reported that the Yankees had signed a new player to a minor league deal.
Castillo wrote: “The Yankees have signed right-hander Luis Garcia to a two-year minor-league deal, a source tells ESPN. Garcia is rehabbing after undergoing his second Tommy John surgery in October. His base salary for 2027 would be $2.25MM with another $750K in possible performance bonuses.”
