WATCH: Brandon Marsh’s High School Football Highlight Reel Is Insane

Though he’s not without flaws offensively, it appears that the Phillies plan to retain Brandon Marsh for the 2025 season. Marsh is an excellent left fielder and capable center fielder, which makes him valuable to a team with question marks at both spots.

It should come as no surprise that outfielders — particularly those who are able to play multiple spots in the outfield — are often among the best athletes on a baseball team.

If you needed a reminder of that, Phillies Tailgate — a must-follow account on X and Bluesky for fans of the team — shared a clip of Marsh’s high-school football highlights:

Marsh attended Buford High School in Georgia from 2013-2016. He ultimately chose to pursue a baseball career after being selected by the Los Angeles Angels in the 2016 MLB Draft. Clearly, though, he thrived playing both wide receiver and cornerback on Friday nights:

What’s crazy is Brandon might not even be the best athlete in his own family, as his younger sister Erin is a heptathlete that won a gold medal while representing the United States at 2023 Pan American Games in Santiago, Chile.
