The Green Bay Packers defended their home turf against the visiting Miami Dolphins in a decisive 30-17 victory on Thanksgiving Day.
Green Bay’s defense was a headache for the Dolphins, which generated 375 total yards but was just 4-for-14 on third downs. Miami quarterback Tua Tagovailoa faced lots of pressure in the pocket as well. Although he passed for two touchdowns and did not get picked off, he was sacked five times for a loss of 29 yards.
Green Bay Packers’ Kingsley Enagbare is ready for the rematch against the Detroit Lions
Green Bay’s defense still left much to be desired, but overall, the stop unit got the job done and will look to be even better in Week 14 when it takes its turn as the road team against the Detroit Lions, who beat the Packers at Lambeau Field in Week 9 via a 24-14 score.
Green Bay defensive end Kingsley Enagbare is already ready for the challenge, as he seemingly already has the Lions on his mind.
Via Matt Schneidman of The Athletic:
Kingsley Enagbare on the Lions: “They obviously beat us the first time here at home, so we looking forward to next week when we go to they spot next Thursday night and pretty much do the same to their home.”
Enagbare made his presence felt in the Miami game, with the former South Carolina Gamecocks star recording five total tackles a stuff and a sack — his first since Week 3’s win over the Tennessee Titans in Nashville.
In the first meeting with the Lions, the Packers recorded just a defensive sack and let Detroit quarterback Jared Goff throw for 145 passing yards and a touchdown with zero interceptions on 18-of-22 pass completions. In that contest, Enagbare had four total tackles and a tackle for loss.
