Titans vs 49ers Best bet: Over 44.5 (-110)
The points total is the best line to attack this evening. Both teams have hit the Over in the majority of their games, with eight in 13 for the Tennessee Titans and seven for the San Francisco 49ers.
However, if you dig down into recent results, five of the Titans’ past seven games have hit that mark.
In no way are the Titans a good football team, but they’re certainly one that’s improving. Cam Ward was dealt a bad hand with a poor offensive line and a rookie receiver corps, but as the season has progressed, he’s managed to put things together.

In the past month, they’ve faced three of the top four teams per defensive DVOA and averaged 22.6 points scored in those games. That’s good going when they’ve averaged just 15.5 points across the whole season.
The 49ers are averaging 23.6 points per game, and with the Titans showing real signs of improvement, we should see the game total smashed.
With the 49ers likely to have a big game themselves, we should expect the Titans to put up points too, even if it’s not enough to win or even cover the spread.

Chimere Dike has had a lot of volume this season. He’s had 11 receptions in his past three games and 19 targets. With the Titans likely chasing the game, we’ll see Cam Ward passing a lot.
We’re finishing off by backing Dike to also score a touchdown. He’s only scored three times, but two have come in the past three weeks. Over the past five games, we’ve seen Dike average one red zone target per game, more than anybody else on the roster.

Tyjae Spears has cleared his receiving yards mark in five of his past six, and his ability as a pass catcher is underrated. The 49ers are allowing 35.9 receiving yards per game to opposing running backs this season.
For the final leg, we’re backing Christian McCaffrey to have two or more touchdowns. Only four teams have allowed more touchdowns to running backs than the Titans, and McCaffrey has multiple touchdowns in three of his previous seven games.
