Green Bay Packers star quarterback Jordan Love is among those considered the best players , not just in his position, in the 2025 NFL season. It’s also why he’s got one of the shortest odds to win the Most Valuable Player award in the 2025 NFL season.
However, there are a number of players more favored than the former Utah State Aggies star signal-caller to win the said award, including none other than New England Patriots quarterback Drake Maye, who put on a show during his team’s 33-15 win at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough over Jaxson Dart and the New York Giants Monday night.

According to ESPN BET , Maye has already become the top favorite to win the NFL MVP plum amid the Patriots’ takedown of the Giants.

At the time of that update, Maye has odds -130 to secure the regular season MVP. Matthew Stafford of the Los Angeles Rams has a price of +120, while Dak Prescott of the Dallas Cowboys is at +1400. Love, meanwhile, is given odds of +1800. Reigning NFL MVP Josh Allen of the Buffalo Bills is +2500 to repeat, while Chicago Bears QB Caleb Williams is labeled with +6000 odds.
Love still has plenty of chances to build a stronger MVP case, but the real focus for him is on helping the Packers win the Super Bowl.
On the season, the 27-year-old Love has 2,794 passing yards and 19 touchdowns against only three interceptions.
