Big things to know

— The Packers listed 17 players on the initial injury report of Week 12. There are seven newcomers to the list, including Karl Brooks, Josh Jacobs and Quay Walker, who did not practice on Wednesday.

— Quarterback Jordan Love was a full participant with the left shoulder injury he suffered on Sunday. No concerns there for his availability this week.

— Josh Jacobs didn’t practice because of a knee contusion that held him out of the second half on Sunday, but coach Matt LaFleur did not rule him out for this week. Watch for practice participation on Thursday and Friday.

— Matt LaFleur described Quay Walker as day to day after suffering a stinger on Sunday. He did not practice on Wednesday. Isaiah McDuffie and Ty’Ron Hopper would get more snaps if Walker can’t go.

— Karl Brooks’ ankle injury is another one to monitor this week. The Packers are already thin up front on defense. However, Lukas Van Ness was practicing again, so maybe the 2023 first-rounder can make his return from a five-game injury absence on Sunday.

— The Packers are still beat up at receiver. Romeo Doubs and Matthew Golden both have new wrist injuries, Christian Watson and Dontayvion Wicks are still being limited at practice, and Savion Williams didn’t practice Wednesday.

— Kicker Brandon McManus was a full participant on Wednesday after missing Sunday’s game. We’ll see how his right quad responds to kicking at practice this week.

— Nate Hobbs appears likely to miss a third straight game with a knee injury. Javon Bullard has a new ankle injury, so the cornerback position has a few question marks.

— The Packers removed Aaron Banks, Kingsley Enagbare and Malik Heath from the injury report after last week. Banks got a rest day on Friday of last week and played one of his best games on Sunday. Enagbare played a season-high 40 snaps through a minor knee issue. Heath didn’t travel to New York due to a coach’s decision but practiced fully on Wednesday.

— The Vikings had only five players on the injury report. The team didn’t practice on Wednesday, so participation was an estimate. Guard Will Fries (knee) and edge rusher Jonathan Greenard (shoulder) did not participate. Center Ryan Kelly was a full participant and could return from injured reserve.
