A young woman walking her dog one afternoon came across a disturbing sight on the side of a dirt road. A stray dog was limping along the shoulder, dragging one of his hind legs. His body was frail and covered in dirt, and it was clear that he was in severe pain. The leg appeared broken, with bone visible through the skin.

As she watched, the stray lowered his head and began searching through trash for food. Each movement seemed agonizing, but hunger kept him going. Over the next two weeks, the stray, now in recovery, remained under the clinic’s care. He slowly regained his strength and began to eat small meals. When the woman returned to check on him, the staff told her that he was recovering well. She decided to adopt him, bringing him home to a safe, clean environment.

The dog began adjusting to his new life. The injuries that once kept him from walking were healing, and he showed signs of growing trust. The woman often looked at the photo taken the day she found him, a reminder of how close he had come to dying on that road.
