As the NFL trade deadline approaches, the Packers have few pressing needs, but adding a veteran cornerback to the secondary in coordinator Jeff Hafley’s defense could be a top priority for general manager Brian Gutekunst.

Meanwhile there could be a veteran who has fallen out of favor with his current defense and could be available ahead of the November 3 trade deadline who could be an instant upgrade on the back-end of Green Bay’s defense.
Could the Packers trade for Cam Taylor-Britt?

The Bengals made cornerback Cam Taylor-Britt inactive for Thursday night’s eventual win over the Pittsburgh Steelers, which could signal that Cincinnati is open to trading him.
“We just got other DB’s that we are going to give a shot to,” Bengals head coach Zac Taylor told reporters after the game.
Taylor-Britt, 26, has appeared in five games so far this season, including posting a season-high four tackles in Cincinnati’s loss to the Packers, back in Week 6.

Over at Heavy Sports, Daniel Arwas proposes that the Packers send a 2026 seventh-round draft choice to the Bengals, in exchange for Taylor-Britt.
Through his first four seasons, Taylor-Britt has intercepted seven passeses while returning for two for touchdowns and adding 193 total tackles.
Adding Taylor-Britt, would infuse a veteran presence into a position group that is looking for young players to continue stepping up, and add quality depth ahead of a potential postseason run that could include matchups against the likes of A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith, Justin Jefferson and Jordan Addison, or Amon-Ra St. Brown and Jameson Williams on the road to a Super Bowl berth out of the NFC.
