New York Yankees infielder Jazz Chisholm Jr. had a perfectly reasonable explanation for one of the silliest baseball controversies possible.
Chisholm Jr., who had a monster home run during New York’s victory over Toronto during Game 3 on Tuesday evening, was also shown on the broadcast yawning at one point during the game.

This brief moment came during the third inning and caught the attention of some folks on social media, who were upset to see the infielder having that physical reaction during a potential elimination game. Some publications even said that he was someone who “falls asleep” in the playoff.
Chisholm posted on social media that he yawns “all day long” and that fans can say what they want.
Either way, he got the job done, and the brief moment of sleepiness did not prevent him from having a good game.
He said that it was potentially the streakers who helped give New York a momentum change.
