Sunday Night Football has one of the most anticipated matchups of the 2025 NFL schedule, when Micah Parsons and the Green Bay Packers (2-1) travel to the Lone Star State to face his former team, the Dallas Cowboys (1-2). After being traded abruptly just before the start of the season, Parsons’ return to Big D immediately became a revenge game marked on every fan’s calendar. Both teams are coming off losses in Week 3, while Dallas is looking for its first win against Green Bay since 2016.
Green Bay squandered an opportunity last week on the road in Cleveland, falling to the Browns 13-10. The Packers offense wasn’t clicking at all as quarterback Jordan Love was sacked five times, while passing for 183 yards, a touchdown and an interception. The defense mostly held up their end, allowing the Browns just 221 total yards despite a quiet game from Micah Parsons, who recorded just two tackles and two QB hits. He’ll have a little bit more motivation in his return to Dallas, especially so soon after he was traded at the end of August. This Packers offense will also look to get back on track against a Cowboys defense that is already one of the worst in the league.

Dallas’s season is quickly beginning to circle the drain, and they desperately need a win in Week 4. Jerry Jones has already come out and said they won’t make a big deal and do any tribute for Parsons’ return. The Cowboys lost CeeDee Lamb to an ankle injury in the loss to the Bears and will be without the All-Pro wideout for 3-4 weeks. Dallas will also be without rookie guard Tyler Booker for four to six weeks due to an ankle injury. On the defensive side of the ball, things aren’t much better as Dallas has given up 92 points in three games, which is fifth-most in the NFL. They can’t afford to continue losing ground in the NFC East, already two games back of the undefeated Eagles and one behind the Commanders.
