New Orleans Saints Pro Bowler Chase Young sustained a calf injury during practice on Wednesday, September 3. Initially, the injury was not believed to be serious, but it was viewed as tricky, as the front office opted against placing him on injured reserve. Since then, Young has yet to practice and missed the first three games of the regular season, with many questioning their decision to keep him on the active roster.<\/p>\n

Chase Young did not practice for the fourth consecutive week as he continues to recover from his calf injury. According to Ross Jackson, the Saints have ruled out the former Defensive Rookie of the Year against the Buffalo Bills. Not having Young available is a huge loss for the Saints, who are trying to get into the win column.<\/p>\n

The 36-year-old eight-time Pro Bowler has struggled with rushing the passer, but is doing an excellent job against the run. Jordan has four pressures, a 5.5% pass-rush win rate, 1.5 sacks, four run stops, and an 8.2% run-stop rate.<\/p>\n
