This game is scheduled for\u00a0Sunday, September 28, and it\u2019s\u00a0Sunday Night Football, so the league obviously thinks a lot of people are going to watch the fireworks.<\/p>\n<p>Now, of course, even after that initial game was scheduled, the Green Bay Packers have\u00a0acquired star\u00a0defensive end\u00a0Micah Parsons\u00a0from the Dallas Cowboys, so this\u00a0marks his first time\u00a0playing his former team. Emotions are going to be high when these two teams meet, and a lot of people are wondering how Parsons will handle the situation.<\/p>\n<p>Will Parsons get soft on the field when he\u2019s up against his former team and expected to sack one of his good friends,\u00a0Dak Prescott? Well, Green Bay Packers head coach Matt LaFleur certainly doesn\u2019t think that\u2019s the case.<\/p>\n<h2>Green Bay Packers Coach Matt LaFleur Talks Micah Parsons and Dallas Cowboys<\/h2>\n<p data-mrf-recirculation=\"Articles \/ Paragraph Links\">Speaking with reporters leading up to the game, LaFleur made it clear that he\u2019s not worried about the Cowboys or about how Parsons will act on the field.<\/p>\n<p data-mrf-recirculation=\"Articles \/ Paragraph Links\"><em>\u201cI think every game, you\u2019ve got to approach it the same way, whether it\u2019s Week 1 of the regular season, or if you get in the playoffs or the Super Bowl, whatever, you\u2019ve got to come in with the same mindset,\u201d\u00a0LaFleur told reporters. \u201cThe focus is, yeah, you\u2019ve got to know what you\u2019re going against \u2014 but the focus always comes back to us and what we\u2019ve got to do and how we need to go out there with the focus and concentration that we need to have.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p data-mrf-recirculation=\"Articles \/ Paragraph Links\">He added, \u201cI\u2019m not worried about that (with Parsons).\u201d<\/p>\n<h2>Packers Coach Talks Up His Team Against Cowboys<\/h2>\n<p>He also gushed over another player the Packers will lean on against the Cowboys:\u00a0Kenny Clark.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cI think there\u2019s a reason he got a third contract because not many guys do,\u201d\u00a0LaFleur said, \u201cand certainly I think you have to play at a certain level, which he has, but you also have to be a certain type of guy. I think Kenny is a pro\u2019s pro.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>He added,<em> \u201cI\u2019ve got so much respect for him, as much as anybody that I\u2019ve been around in this game, in terms of his approach, his team-first mentality, his willingness to help others and bring guys along. He wasn\u2019t always the most vocal, but when he talked, everybody listened.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>LaFleur also commented on the\u00a0Packers\u2019 loss on Sunday\u00a0to the\u00a0Cleveland Browns,\u00a013-10. He\u2019s focused on the present and doesn\u2019t like to look past one game.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cThe goal is to go 1-0 every week,\u201d\u00a0LaFleur told reporters. \u201cIt (makes him mad) when we start talking about things outside of the next game. Things that are way down the road. Focus on the present, on the now and worry about getting better each and every day.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p data-mrf-recirculation=\"Articles \/ Paragraph Links\">Reach out to me with your thoughts on the upcoming game.
