Much has been said about Micah Parsons and his trade to the Green Bay Packers from the Dallas Cowboys. After all, it\u2019s one of the biggest and most shocking trades in the history of the NFL.<\/p>\n

Parsons is still just 26 years old, and for all the great things he\u2019s done so far in his pro career, his best days could still be in front of him. It\u2019s among the reasons why the Cowboys\u2019 decision to send him somewhere else than give the former Penn State Nittany Lions star the contract he wanted continues to befuddle many.<\/p>\n

In any case, Parsons is writing a new chapter in his NFL career, this time with Green Bay, which parted ways with veteran defensive tackle Kenny Clark and two future first-round picks to acquire the four-time Pro Bowler from Dallas.<\/p>\n

Parsons will get much attention again in Week 4 , especially with the Packers playing his former team this coming Sunday in Arlington, a familiar place for the superstar pass rusher.<\/p>\n

However, Parsons doesn\u2019t seem to be as preoccupied about that narrative as the fans and the media are.<\/p>\n

Via the Associated Press (h\/t ESPN) :<\/p>\n

I accepted my fate weeks ago when the trade happened, Parsons said. \u201cSo, for me, it\u2019s just all about playing another game and just doing what I do best, and that\u2019s just be a disruptive football player. I think the media and the fans are trying to blow it up to be such a big thing. But I just look at it as just another game at AT&T.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The No. 1\u00a0 goal for Parsons this coming Sunday is to perform well and help the Packers recover from a stunning loss to the Cleveland Browns last Sunday. At the same time, Parsons is only human with feelings, so it\u2019s not a stretch to expect him to show some emotions on the field against his former team.<\/p>\n
