The Minnesota Twins reinstated veteran catcher Christian Vazquez from the 10-day injured list on Monday.<\/p>\n

Vazquez, 35, missed the last 43 games with a left shoulder infection.<\/p>\n

He played four rehab games at Triple-A St. Paul, going 2-for-15 with a home run, four RBIs and three walks.<\/p>\n

Vazuez was batting .174 with two homers and 13 RBIs in 61 games prior to the injury.<\/p>\n

The two-time World Series winner is a career .249 hitter in 989 games with the Boston Red Sox, Houston Astros and Twins.<\/p>\n
