Aquib Talib thinks he knows why the Green Bay Packers made the Washington Commanders’ offense very average on Thursday.<\/p>\n
For three quarters, the Packers’ defense made the Commanders look very bad on several possessions.<\/p>\n

Talib, a guest on “Up & Adams” with Kay Adams, told Adams that Kliff Kingsbury and Jayden Daniels were a new combination last season in Washington. However, he feels that defensive coaches have had an entire offseason to look at film and will have very different game plans than those employed during the 2024 season.<\/p>\n
“That blueprint is out there, man,” insisted Talib. However, Talib was referring to the blueprint he said the Eagles had laid out there, winning 55-23 over Washington in the NFC Championship game. Talib was correct to say earlier that NFL defensive coaches work in the offseason on game planning. However, Talib is dead wrong that it was the Eagles who laid a blueprint in the NFC Championship game. The Commanders moved the ball all day, but laid it on the turf repeatedly.<\/p>\n
Former Cowboys receiver Dez Bryant wasn’t as convinced as Talib. Bryant cast more of the blame on the Washington offensive game plan designed by Kingsbury. Bryant called the game plan simple, too conservative and they certainly did not execute well either. Bryant felt that the Packers’ game plan for Green Bay was better, and they executed it more effectively on the field.<\/p>\n
