The Dallas Cowboys will begin their 2025 season on the road against the Philadelphia Eagles, but that won’t stop their cheerleading squad from turning heads.<\/p>\n
During the 2024 offseason, the Cowboys welcomed Abby Summers as a member of “America’s Sweethearts.” She had a ton of experience heading into tryouts. After all, she trained in ballet, jazz, contemporary, hip hop and tap at Company C Dance Club. She then made The Ohio State Dance Team and won a handful of national championships.<\/p>\n

Summers viewed Dallas’ cheerleading squad as an opportunity to “further her dance career.” With that said, she was thrilled to officially join the team before the 2024 regular season.<\/p>\n
“So proud to share that I am a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader,” Summers wrote. “It\u2019s been an incredible journey, and I couldn\u2019t have done it without the amazing people I\u2019ve met along the way. From supportive friends and family to inspiring coaches, each person has made this dream possible. Can\u2019t wait to dance alongside such talented individuals! Feeling incredibly blessed and excited for what\u2019s to come.”<\/p>\n Advertisement<\/p>\n Prior to kickoff for the Cowboys-Eagles game, Summers shared a video of her cheering at AT&T Stadium. As you’d imagine, she’s amped up for her second year in Dallas.<\/p>\n “Let’s go to WORK cowboys,” she wrote for her Instagram caption.<\/p>\n Unsurprisingly, this post from Summers received plenty of support from her teammates.<\/p>\n “LETS GO ABS,” Faith Ward commented.<\/p>\n Brenley Herrera wrote, “my queeeeen.”<\/p>\n Advertisement<\/p>\n “GORGGG,” Madie Krueger said.<\/p>\n Leading up to her first year as an NFL cheerleader, Summers said she was eager to make new memories and friends. We’ll see if she accomplishes that in Year 2.<\/p>\n The Cowboys will try to win their season opener before heading back home for a Sept. 14 showdown with the New York Giants.
