Midway through, he came up with a left thumb injury, and it meant he&#8217;d be out for the remainder of the preseason.<\/p>\n<p>Advertisement<\/p>\n<p>That created at least some questions and concerns about how Love would perform when he took the Lambeau Field stage for Week 1, Green Bay Packers hosting the Detroit Lions.<\/p>\n<p>The Packers&#8217; star QB alleviated those worries very quickly.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Anyone worried that\u00a0Jordan Love\u00a0would come out of the gates slowly after missing so much practice time, following his left thumb injury, had their concerns eased right away,&#8221; wrote ESPN&#8217;s Rob Demovsky. &#8220;He completed 5 of 7 passes with a pair of touchdowns on throws with at least 15 air yards in the first half, according to ESPN Research.
