The final injury report is out for the San Francisco 49ers ahead of their Week 11 showdown against the Seattle Seahawks.<\/p>\n
Punter Mitch Wishnowsky is likely headed to the Injured Reserve with a back injury. It\u2019s an injury that Kyle Shanahan said flared up earlier in the week. It\u2019s an injury that \u201cbothered him a ton\u201d dating back to training camp, according to Kyle Shanahan, who said Wishnowsky\u2019s injury has been acting up recently, and he\u2019s back to the point he was in training camp.<\/p>\n
Pat O\u2019Donnell will likely be elevated from the practice squad on Saturday.<\/p>\n
Wishnowsky, defensive tackle Kevin Givens, and cornerbacks Charvarius Ward and Darrell Luter are out. Luter is techinically listed as doubtful with a pelvis injury.<\/p>\n
Edge rusher Yetur Gross-Matos figures to take Wishnowsky\u2019s roster spot. Gross-Matos was a full participant in practice each day. Here\u2019s what Shanahan said about having an extra body at defensive end:<\/p>\n
\u201cOh, it helps a ton. We\u2019ve had big expectations for Yetur. Had a hell of a camp and had that bad injury at the end of preseason, wasn\u2019t able to heal the right way and we feel this time off has healed it and excited for him to get back with us.\u201d<\/p>\n
Nick Bosa is officially questionable with a hip injury. So, getting Gross-Matos back for 20-ish snaps could go a long way in preserving Bosa. Shanahan explained how<\/p>\n
\u201cYeah, a real light week. I think it acted up on him more through the game than he thought it would and I think it was really bothering him as the game went for all four quarters. For him to tough it out and finish it, he almost made that unbelievable play on fourth down. Then [Tampa Bay Buccaneers QB] Baker [Mayfield] made an even more unbelievable play. But then later in that drive, he had some big ones. Had a huge stop, I believe it was second-and-goal on a run play where he came back under and just battled through. Hopefully, with the rest, he\u2019ll feel a little better this week.\u201d<\/p>\n
Trent Williams is questionable this week with an ankle injury: \u201cYeah, just has been hurting all week and thought he\u2019d be able to go today, couldn\u2019t. Hopefully, he\u2019ll be better tomorrow and good to go, but we\u2019ll have all the way up to kickoff for him.\u201d<\/p>\n
