The Los Angeles Dodgers are loaded with talent, but they can’t seem to avoid the injury bug.<\/p>\n

Their team has been destroyed with injuries all season, and it could come back to haunt them in the postseason.<\/p>\n

Either way, the Dodgers will have some tough decisions to make in the winter, especially with some of their injury-prone stars.<\/p>\n

Bleacher Report’s Tim Kelly recently suggested the Dodgers would cut ties with flamethrower Michael Kopech in free agency this winter, but not for a lack of talent or production.<\/p>\n

“The Dodgers will presumably exercise Max Muncy’s $10 million option for 2026, leaving Kopech as their top free agent,” Kelly wrote. “Kopech has a minuscule 0.87 ERA over 32 regular-season appearances with the Dodgers between 2024 and 2025, and he was a key cog in their bullpen a year ago en route to the World Series.<\/p>\n

“But if Kopech — who was activated off the injured list Monday — isn’t able to stay healthy for the remainder of this season, it’s fair to wonder what level of interest the Dodgers will have in bringing him back.”<\/p>\n

Kopech wasn’t great during the later years with the Chicago White Sox, but after he was traded to the Dodgers, he’s been incredible.<\/p>\n

Unfortunately for both parties, he hasn’t been able to stay healthy this year.<\/p>\n

The Dodgers are loaded with bullpen talent, so losing the righty in free agency wouldn’t kill them, especially if there’s a team in the league that’s going to be willing to overpay for Kopech.<\/p>\n

The Dodgers would be better off adding a more reliable arm to their bullpen instead of trying to reunite with Kopech in the winter.<\/p>\n
